Abstract

Listlessness marked trading on the New York Stock Exchangeduring the month of October. The advances registered during the preceding two months in both Santos 4s and Rio 7s, while small, were halted. Santos 4s, closing at 7,94 to 8.12, registered a decline of 16 to 21 points; Rio 7s, closing at 4,90 to 5,32, registred a loss of 10 to 16 point. Spots declined I/8 cent.
