Abstract:
The study of flavonoids in the cultivais Kouillou, Robusta, Laurentii and Bukobensis of Coffea canephora is reported. Thirty one different flavonoids were detected. Twenty three of them were found to be common to Robusta, Kouillou and Laurentii. The data obtained indicated that the flavonoid pattern is indicative of the geographical distribution of the cultvars of Coffea canephora. The cultivar Bukobensis with the lowest affinity value is found in the extreme position of the range distribution of the species.
